Directions from O'Hare Airport

1.  Taxi - American Taxi.

American Taxi has a negotiated flat-rate to Evanston of $31.00.  (not including tip).  Using their online reservation system, you can place your request in advance. Upon landing, you call their number, their system recognizes your cell number and gives your the number of the car picking you up.  You will need to find your way to the second row of the Arrivals area outside your terminal to meet the car.

2.  Public Transit - Pace 250 Bus

The least expensive option is the Pace 250 bus line, which goes to downtown Evanston for $1.75.  From the Davis St. Purple Line station, it is a .3 mile walk (about 6 minutes) to the Margarita Inn or any of the downtown hotels.  You would need to find your way to the O'Hare ATS station to catch that bus.  The timetable can be found at the link below:

3.  Uber

At your option, you can also look into the ridesharing app Uber to investigate rates that beat the $31 taxi rate.  Those rates are subject to fluctuation during peak hours.  Evanston residents have reported success using it for airport transit, if you are comfortable using the smartphone app.

4.  From Downtown Evanston to Zen Shiatsu Chicago

Zen Shiatsu Chicago is at 825 Chicago Avenue, right across the street from the Main Street stop on the Purple Line train.  Students staying in Downtown Evanston can walk to the Davis Street CTA Purple Line station and take a southbound train (towards "Howard" or "Loop") to Main Street.  Zen Shiatsu Chicago is just across the street from the Main Street station and slightly to the south.
