Hannah Belooz
CP
Hannah discovered Shiatsu in September of 1999. She says, "It all started with my receiving a Shiatsu session, and after that I began my journey as a Shiatsu Practitioner."
Hannah is a graduate of the Zen Shiatsu Chicago Professional Asian Bodywork Program, having completed 600 hours of the Shiatsu Program studying under Matt Sweigart.
She continued her training with Dr. Wang Gui Heng, a Chinese Qigong master, where she learned medical qigong and Tuina as well as cupping and Guasha. She deepened her knowledge about promoting good health and preventing illnesses.
After graduation, Hannah spent years assisting classes and tutoring students, eventually becoming Supervisor of the Student Clinic and teaching the core Zen Shiatsu curriculum.
She is a member of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) and is certified by the American Organization for Bodywork Therapies of Asia (AOBTA). Hannah also serves as the Secretary/Treasurer of the AOBTA State Chapter.
Her sessions are profound, and caring. She uses both gentle and strong pressure as needed, and respects the individual needs and preferences of her clients.
