Learn how acupressure for emotional healing uses points, breathing, and somatic skills to focus deep within the body, allowing what is blocked to surface, be expressed and release.
When this cycle is incomplete (which often occurs in the best bodywork or talk therapies) the client becomes disoriented, gets stuck or continues their self-abusive patterns. As acupressure points open, healing energy increases awareness, awakens the roots of emotional problems, and facilitates long lasting healing.
These hands-on, experiential workshops are for therapy clients, bodyworkers, and holistic psychotherapists who want to expand their somatic, therapeutic skills.
The 3-hour workshop is tailored towards your own self-exploration and self-healing. The 12-hour workshop is tailored towards anyone wishing to assist another with their emotional healing.
You will:
- Discover specific acupressure points for balancing anger, frustration, worry, depression, grief, fear, anxiety, trauma and emotional distress
- Learn somatic healing skills with these points to balance the body’s energy system while guiding a client’s awareness for emotional balancing
- Explore how to use acupressure points for specific balancing common emotional problems using the chakras as a model
- Learn how to guide your clients with self-acupressure techniques for relieving anxiety, trauma, depression, and emotional distress
